Rebutt A Telemarketer

I used to be in telesales line selling Asian Wall Street Journal ( Now it's call Wall Street Journal Asia). My manager, Edmund taught us the various methods of rebuttals and techniques which I found it pretty useful. Of course, there are those who slam down the phone straight after hearing unfamiliar voices, but majority of the people are willing to hold on what you are going to say for the first 5-10 seconds. Rebuttals can be picked up easily by adding some logics to it, but the real art of selling is to know how to control the situation by rebuttals and asking straight to the heart questions. In this clip, initially is the telemarketer that seize control of the situation, shortly Seinfield took over. You can try this when a telemarketer calls you. Excellent rebuttal by Seinfield!
