Financial Freedom - ST Article Dated 6 Feb 08

With respond to one of the Straits Time articles , there's a rising concerns with ERP charges especially on those local delivery companies. The managing director of Network Express stated that in order to cushion off its business cost, which makes several thousands of deliveries per day, they might alter the delivery charges to their customers.

I suggest having part-timers/freelance delivery personnel at every location in Singapore. Priority packages to be send by full-time staff. As for normal packages, part-timers/freelance (who own bicycle/walk or bike/car) are able to do the job. Payment to them can be by per package or by weight. This might save quite a considerable amount on the ERP charges.
